Description

The development comprises of 3 sites located at 1018-1020 Mt Alexander Road, Essendon, Victoria.

The proposal saw the re-development of the existing Brickmakers Arms Hotel, of which incorporated the original hotel façade wall. Three residential buildings create a uniform and focused streetscape with a gradual height increase to the Hotel Facade.

The development was constructed in three stages. Stage 1 saw construction of a new three storey 4 unit residential building with associated offices at ground floor, Stage 2 a new four storey 15 unit residential building with offices, and Stage 3 on the corner development and incorporation of the original hotel site and façade to include four levels of 24 apartments above offices and cafe / restaurant at ground floor.

From initial title boundary, levels and features surveys through to multi-level building subdivision, Vicland Surveying provided essential surveying services for all 3 stages of the project.
